Found living from Alaska to Newfoundland, these far northern mem-bers of the deer family are literally the stuff from which dreams are made. Dietary staples of man since the last Ice Age, these nomadic wanderers of the frozen tundra are an unexcelled hunting quarry. It has been many years since I first trekked north to bow hunt for caribou, and I hope it is many more before my last annual outing for these animals. Never do I feel more alive then when waking up in a caribou hunting camp, or when stalking these majestic animals. You can make a hunting trip for caribou virtually everywhere these animals occur.
