Central Hauling Driver Earns Truck Central Hauling driver Cesar Castilleja of Laredo, Texas, recently won the company's bi-yearly refer-ral contest by surpassing all other drivers in recruit-ing new drivers during a six-month period. Castilleja, who has been with Central Hauling since 2005, was presented a truck by Tom Bartholomew, owner of Central Hauling Company and its sister company CalArk. Schneider Recognized for Military Friendliness For the third straight year Schneider National was recognized on the G.I. Jobs list of Top 50 Military-Friendly Employers, coming in at No. 13. The company was recognized for its strong military recruiting practices, programs and policies. The company has ranked in the Top 20 each of those years. Schneider's programs for veterans include an apprenticeship program, the Vetrepreneur program and the Army Reserve Employer Partnership. C.H. Robinson Receives Awards C.H. Robinson has received the Seven Seals award and three Patriot awards from the State of Minnesota for Employer Sup-port of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). The Seven Seals award is given in recognition of a significant individual or organiza-tion for taking a leadership role that promotes the mission of ESGR. The Patriot award recognizes supportive employers and is given out on behalf of the United States Department of Defense. Transport America Names Top September Drivers Minnesota-based truckload carrier Transport America's Septem-ber 2008 Drivers of the Month were recognized for outstanding service to the company and its customers. Professional com-pany drivers selected for September were John Miller, Andrew Huntamer, Lou Evans and Gary Snow.
