Letter From the President
www.truckerbuddy.org 1 As I look back on the road that Trucker Buddy has been down for the past couple of years I can't help but be thankful for the driver volunteers. At a time when thousands of small non-profit organizations are closing their doors, Trucker Buddy is still here and the volunteers are still giving. As we started down this rough road I began hearing from more of you. Your concerns and thoughts were well-noted and it is because of your passion and belief in the message of the TBI Nation that we are able to weather this storm. As we reemerge and chart our future direction, I am confident that we have chosen the best executive director, Randy Schwartzenburg, to lead us out of the eye of the storm. As the president and a fellow driver, I share with you the rewards this program offers and rec-ognize that it is the TBI driver volunteers who put a face to the best program our industry has for public outreach and image improvement. It is because of your dedication and commitment that our sponsors are able to support such a worthwhile cause. On behalf of the Board of Directors, thanks for all that you do. Be safe, see you on the road. Mark Taylor President TBI Ambassador Update Ambassadors are a critical part of Trucker Buddy and help us in many ways to function as an organization. As volunteers, they support us by working trade shows, acting as an advisory council, recruiting new drivers into our program and showing the industry the quality of our members. We currently have 19 Ambassadors and need to add at least 10 more for 2010. To be selected as an Ambassador you must: 1. Be currently active in the Trucker Buddy program 2. Have 2 years of Trucker Buddy experience 3. Be approved by the Ambassador Committee 4. Agree to work at least one trade show in 2010 5. Be willing to follow all the Ambassador Guidelines If you are interested contact: James Malone: 469-658-1377 K.C. Brau: 214-801-4320 Message from the President
