rior to the recession, RPM for Truckers magazine touted itself as having the highest editorial percentage of any trucking recruiting digest. With a stable of top contributing writers, our goal was to build reader retention through our columns and departments. Now that the freight market has improved, we are seeing a rebound in advertisers needing drivers – which means the page count of our publication is also increasing. As such, our editorial pages will also increase. Jim Klepper from Drivers Legal Plan has been a long-time contributor with his Legal Lane column, and Hollywood stuntman and truck racer Mike Ryan will continue to contribute Ryan’s Rant on occasion, but we are introducing some new content to the magazine. Our For Safety’s Sake article will focus on topics such as accident prevention, which is highlighted in this issue’s look at electronic safety controls and rollover stability systems. Humorist Alisa Singer is back with her Dear G.A.B. advice column, where this month she answers a frustrated trucker’s wife who is concerned about her husband’s ‘mirdle’. The most recent addition to the RPM for Truckers’ editorial lineup is from Dr. John McElligott, who represents the St. Christopher’s Fund, a charity with a basic mission is to help professional drivers who have financial needs due to medical problems In our Health Help article, Dr. John reveals a five-year review of the health care needs of the American Trucker. I hope you enjoy the revamped editorial in RPM for Truckers, and I value your input for future content. Brad Bentley, Editorial Director
