l M M Twenty-seven national Contractor of the Year winners were named at the 2009 Evening of Excellence hosted by the National Association of the Re-modeling Industry (NARI). Largely regarded as the premier event of the year for the remodeling industry, contractors compete for the awards on the basis of each entrant's be-fore and after photography and project description. Judging is based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of dif-fi culty and entry presentation. Following are some of the winners: Residential Kitchen Over $100,000 Paul Davis Restoration & Remodel Milwaukee, Wis. This original 12' x 14' gallery kitchen was remod-eled to include two large islands, a butler's pantry, two wine coolers and a dining/breakfast nook.
