Safe Software announced that its FME software now provides ESRI users with access to full 3-D cityscapes directly within the Arc-GIS environment. Spin Technologies Inc. released RunningMap Trackometer, an iPhone application for runners and outdoor enthusiasts to track and measure their activities. HARDWARE OneGIS released OneView Mobile 1.1 field-force automation software, featuring an Action Framework that allows field personnel to apply specific work-related actions to auto-mate daily work assignments. Z Corp. introduced ZPrinter 350, a monochrome printer that converts 3-D data into physical models. MISC. ESRI published GIS for Building and Managing Infrastructure , which presents maps from nine countries and 57 organizations, illustrating the versatility of GIS technology when applied to physical systems and complex operations. Intergraph introduced its Interop-erability Framework, which sup-ports industry-standard information exchanges such as the National Information Exchange Model, and its Motion Video Exploitation solution, which enables analysts to geospa-tially integrate video with multiple intelligence sources to provide situ-ational awareness and strategic decision-making capabilities. NAVTEQ released survey results that illustrate the effects of GPS-enabled location-based advertising. Conducted by Marketing Research Services Inc., the survey showed that 19 percent of consumers who recalled seeing a specific ad clicked through to find nearby retail locations and that up to 6 percent of GPS users actually visited a busi-ness location after seeing an ad on their GPS device. SGI introduced SGI InfiniteStorage NAS and SGI LiveSAN, two new stor-age offerings within the SGI Infinite-Storage Total Control suite, a set of modular software and hardware tools that enable storage customiza-tion using standard components. SuperGeo Technologies introduced the GIS Learning CD for GIS teachers and students. TeleCommunication Systems Inc. introduced TCS People Locator, TCS Asset Locator and a fully inte-grated hosted solution that provides carriers with multiple location-based applications and the supporting net-work infrastructure. Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) announced that its GRS-1 handheld RTK GNSS receiver now supports Pocket 3D software, a Win-dows Mobile 6.1 release intended only for use with the GRS-1. TPS also released ScanMaster 1.5 soft-ware, which can be used with its GLS-1000 receiver. Trimble introduced Trimble Access, which expedites spatial imag-ing data collection, processing, analysis and project information delivery. The software runs on the Trimble Tablet rugged PC, which includes a wide screen, Internet connectivity and the computing power to process large scans and view large scenes. The company also introduced new systems and software to broaden its portfolio of Connected Site survey solu-tions: the Trimble R4, Trimble R5 and Trimble R6 GPS receivers; the Trimble S3 robotic total sta-tion; and a new version of Trimble Business Center software. The company also launched its VRS Now service in the Czech Republic and the state of Mississippi, which provides surveyors, civil engineers and geospatial professionals with access to real-time kinematic GNSS corrections without needing a base station. Getac announced that its complete line of rugged notebook computers and tablet PCs are fully compatible with Microsoft's Windows 7 Operating System.
