In addition, ESRI and the Washing-ton Department of Ecology signed a comprehensive enterprise license agreement that provides the depart-ment with access to all required ESRI ArcGIS software. ESRI (UK) was selected by the Avon Fire & Rescue Service to deploy DragonMap to conduct risk-assessment surveys of larger build-ings and facilities. Geospatial Holdings Inc. was selected as part of a team to provide underground pipeline utility location and mapping services over a three-year period to the Mississippi State Port Authority at Gulfport, Miss. Getac Inc. and NCS Technologies announced that the U.S. Air Force selected Getac rugged notebook computers as part of its Quarterly Enterprise Buy program. Infotech Enterprises and con-sortium partners GGP Systems and Infoshare successfully bid for a competitive tender issued by the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland to provide a centralized address gazetteer for police services. Infoterra GmbH won a contract covering the acquisition and provi-sion of TerraSAR-X radar satellite data as well as the implementation of a direct data ordering tool. Maptek announced that Newmont Mining Corp. selected its Maptek MineSuite Production Management Information System for implementa-tion at its Leeville and Midas under-ground gold operations in Nevada. Optech Inc. assumed full owner-ship of certain patents directed to underground laser-based cavity-scanning devices.
