For love of the ga me.
While the courses set in the rugged Badlands might be the most visually stunning, in ND you can test your game in a variety of terrains. In fact, you can golf your way across the state on 116 nine- and 18-hole courses, more courses per capita than any other state. While ND's golf courses are greatly diverse in layout and terrain, they're all affordable. Fees range from $1 to $65 for 18 holes, and it's not uncommon to be able to play all day for about $20. Individual ND golf courses have been lauded in Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, GolfWeek and Golf World. In Golf Digest's 2002 feature, "Best Little Golf Towns in America," Bismarck was ranked 29th, Grand Forks 71st and Fargo 87th on a list of 314 great American golf towns.
